Abstract: This paper introduces a new continuous distribution which is a generalization of the flexible weibull extension, called the kumaraswamy flexible weibull extension distribution. We refer to the new distribution as KW-FWE for short. We obtain some of its mathematical properties, also some structural properties of this new distribution are studied. We provide an explicit expressions for the moments and the moment generating function. The method of maximum likelihood is used to evaluate the model parameters . We illustrate the usefulness of the proposed model by applications to real data.

Keywords: Flexible weibull extension; Kumaraswamy distribution; Moment generating function; Maximum likelihood estimation.

Abstract: Let $G = (V;E)$ be a connected graph. A dominating set $S\subseteq V$ is called a connected dominating set if $\langle S \rangle$ is connected subgraph. In this paper we introduce the connected boundary dominating set and analogous to the connected boundary domination number, we define the connected boundary domatic number in graphs. Exact values of some standard graphs are obtained and some other interesting results are established.

Abstract: We prove the existence of the PPF dependent fixed point theorems in the Razumikhin class for a pair of mappings satisfying $(\alpha - \psi)-$ contractive conditions in Banach spaces where the domains and ranges of the mappings are not the same. We also prove the existence of the PPF dependent common fixed point theorems and the PPF dependent coincidence points theorems. Our results extend and generalize the results of \cite{dhage, drici, drici1} and references therein.

Abstract: We made the numerical experiment to compare two functions $\tau$(t, s, x) and $t_{1}(t, s, x)$. The computed values for $\tau$(t, s, x) are positive and for $t_{1}$(t, s, x) are negative. Further we proved analytically this conjecture. Then it is proved that $\tau$(t, s, x)$>t_{1}$(t, s, x).

Article Type : Research Article Title : Numerical Solution of Non Linear Differential Equation by Using Shooting Techniques Country : India Authors : Dr.Summiya Parveen

Abstract: Many problems that occur in physics and engineering can be modelled by linear or nonlinear differential equations. In this paper we find the solution of Blasius type equations which are nonlinear ordinary differential equations on a semi-infinite interval. The Blasius equation is a third-order non-linear ordinary differential equation. The non-linear mathematical model of the problem prohibits the use of the analytical methods. A numerical solution is the single approach for these problems. The two-point boundary problem was solved by a Runge-Kutta method and shooting method. Matlab functions make numerical solution of the mathematical models of the fluid flow relatively simple and quick solutions are presented for Blasius equations with additional computations based on the numerical results obtained by the Matlab function. Numerical study on boundary layer equation due to stationary flat plate, Matlab is the mathematical programming that used to solve the boundary layer equation applied toolbox method. The numerical results show a good agreement with the exact solution of Blasius equation and consistent with prior published result. The accuracy of the proposed method is higher than other approximation analytical solutions; hence suggest that proposed method is efficient and practical.

Abstract: An analysis is made for the two-dimensional laminar boundary layer flow of a viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting fluid over a permeable shrinking sheet with partial slip. The governing boundary layer equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations using similarity transformation which are than solved numerically using shooting technique. The effects of various physical parameters, such as the magnetic parameter, slip parameter; Biot number and Prandtl number, on the flow and heat transfer characteristics are presented and discussed.

Article Type : Research Article Title : Performance Analysis of a Cold Standby System with fault Detection and Arrival Time of Server Subject to Imperfect Coverage Country : India Authors : Ashish Kumar || Monika Saini || Devesh Kumar Srivastava

Abstract: The main aim of present paper is to analyse the performance measures of a standby system by using the concept of arrival time of server, repair, imperfect coverage, detection and replacement. A single repair facility is provided to the system as and when required. The repairman takes some time to conduct the repair services. Upon failure of the unit repairman first detect the failed unit to check the feasibility of repair and replacement in case fault is not completely coverage. The repair, replacement, detection and arrival time of the repairman are considered as arbitrary distributed while failure rate is taken as negative exponential distributed. The failure time of the unit is exponentially distributed while the distribution of repair times, replacement time and recovery time of the unit follows arbitrary distribution. Various recurrence relations for reliability, MTSF, availability and profit function are derived using semi-Markov process and regenerative point technique. Graphs for availability and profit function are drawn with respect to failure rate.

Abstract: An independent dominating set D of a fuzzy graph $G=(\sigma, \mu)$ is a split dominating set if the induced subgraph $H=(\langle V-D\rangle, \sigma', \mu')$ is disconnected. The minimum of the fuzzy cardinalities of a split independent dominating sets of G is called the split independent domination number $\gamma_{sif}(G)$ of G. An independent dominating set D of a fuzzy graph $G=(\sigma, \mu)$ is a strong split independent dominating set if the induced subgraph $H=(\langle V-D\rangle, \sigma', \mu')$ is totally disconnected. The minimum of the fuzzy cardinalities of a strong split independent dominating sets of G is called the strong split independent domination number $\gamma_{ssif}(G)$ of G.
