Abstract

Most of the Indian Mathematicians form the period of Aryabha?a knows the arithmetic progression (AP) and sum of terms in AP. The present paper discusses the idea of Sama-gh\={a}ta-sa\.{n}kalita in Yukti-bh\={a}\d{s}a and Varasa\.{n}kalita in Ga\d{n}ita Kaumud\={i}. These ideas create the basic development of Integration and infinite series India. This work leads to evaluate integration as the summation of series.
