Abstract

An optimal replacement policy of non-instantaneous deteriorating inventory has been developed to determine the transportation policy. The model has been studied considering exponentially increasing demand. The partial backlogging has been taken in to consideration which is depended on waiting time for next replacement. The total average cost of the system has been derived for various cases. We have also carried out the sensitivity analysis to identify the sensitiveness of the various parameter used in this model. Some interesting numerical examples have been presented to illustrate the model.
