Abstract

The objective of this work to study the combined effect of Soret-Dufour, radiation and second order chemical reaction on unsteady MHD(magnetohydrodynamics) flow past a vertical porous plate immersed in a porous medium under variable suction velocity. In this model, the nonlinear partial differential equation of flow problem has been solved numerically using the Crank-Nicolson implicit finite difference method. Characteristics of velocity, temperature and concentration are shown through graphically and characteristics of skin friction, Nusselt number and Sherwood number are discussed with the help of the table.
