Abstract

In this paper, we propose Type II truncated Fr\`{e}chet (TIITF) generated family of distributions. Some statistical properties of the new family are derived. Type II truncated Fr\`{e}chet-uniform, Type II truncated Fr\`{e}chet-exponential; Type II truncated Fr\`{e}chet-inverse Weibull and Type II truncated Fr\`{e}chet-Rayleigh distributions are defined as sub-models. We proposed the parameters estimation of the model by using maximum likelihood (ML) method. Application of truncated Fr\`{e}chet-inverse Weibull model is presented to show the importance of the suggested truncated family.
