Abstract

Consider the rational spline of the form cubic / quadratic with two shape parameters. The shape control of rational interpolation such as value point control, inflection point control and convexity control at a point is studied. The main aim of the paper is to control the shape of interpolating curve. Also, the numerical examples are given to validate the proposed interpolation technique.
