Abstract

In this paper, group sampling plan is proposed assuming that the life time of the test units follows Compound Rayleigh distribution and the life test is terminated at a prefixed time. The minimum sample size required for ensuring the specified mean life at specified consumer's risk have been determined. The Operating characteristics values for various quality levels are obtained and the results are discussed with the help of tables and examples. The minimum mean ratios are also obtained for a specified level of producer's risk.
