Abstract

Special purpose Double Sampling Plan DSP (0,1) is developed for a truncated life test when the life time of an item follows weighted exponential distribution. The minimum sample sizes are determined when the consumer’s risk and the test termination time are specified. Tables are constructed and examples are provided. The Operating Characteristic values are also provided in the table.
